- I have been actively creative from an early age and enjoy applying my imaginative skills to a variety of media and applications. With the current emphasis on mixed media art, with large abstract paintings incorporating metals, such as Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass. Profile cut shapes with laser etched patterns which enhance the paintings, adding depth and contrast, with a subtle reflection of light changing throughout the day. I have also become very interested in pottery and ceramics, my latest passion. With a well appointed studio and workshop I manufacture decorative and functional pieces with a fresh new look along with pops of colour and intricate carving.
My Ceramic Process
Ceramics had me obsessed from my very first lesson. I love the tactile feeling of the clay, the endless possibilities and being so present in every step of making a pottery vessel.
It's a complicated and hard journey with considerable time and effort put into every piece.
The decorating aspect is my favourite part. I love designing, painting or carving the patterns.
All my pieces are individually designed. They are entirely hand painted, so no two pieces are the same.
